What Is it?

Dry Needling is a therapy method that is becoming more and more popular with therapists and patients. During a treatment, the therapist looks for active Trigger Points, so called ‘knots’ in a muscle. Once the therapist palpated a Trigger Point, a very thin needle is inserted into the trigger point. When the Trigger Point is reached, an involuntary muscle twitch happens as a natural reaction from the muscle. Thanks to that twitch, the muscle relaxes immediately. Since the muscle is relieved of its excessive tension, the patient can feel an immediate pain reliefDry Needling is a treatment method that can be used for a wide range of complaints. The most common injuries and complaints we use Dry Needling for are:
